The Ides

If you’re reading this, I find it hard to believe you won’t have heard of Marcus Brown, or at least one of his alter egos.

If you haven’t, suffice to say he’s one of the cleverest, funniest and innovative English printers living in Munich who’s blogging today. (In all seriousness, remove those last few descriptors and the initial set up still remains true).

In one of his most interesting moves to date (and there have been a few) Herr Brown has unveiled ‘The Ides of March‘, a new business venture offering ideas for hire. The premise is simple – you brief, he ideates (is that a word?). You don’t like it, you don’t pay, and Marcus publishes it on his blog as a form of ‘open source rejection’. But, as I’m sure is likely, you think it’s got legs, you decide what it’s worth and pay as you deem right and fair.

I’m utterly convinced that we’ll see some great stuff come out of this, and that the Ides will be a great success. I can’t wait to see some of the output.

So, if you’ve got a (creative) problem – if no-one else can help – and if you can find him, maybe you could hire: the ides team. (Sorry – that’s woeful).

Go take a look.
