One for the Freakonomists

If you’ve read Freakonomics no doubt this’ll raise a smile (and if you haven’t, I recommend that you do – there is some sage advice about numbers & data that any brand professional would find useful, even if this is isn’t usually your bag).

Apparently, cyclists that wear helmets are more likely to be knocked off their bikes than those who don’t.

But as Steven D. Levitt would no doubt ask: sure, there’s correlation, but is it causal? šŸ˜‰

NB. If you think this is a bit of a random post – I’ve only just read Freakonomics (miles behind the crowd), and I was looking for an excuse to write about it!
