This Aquafresh ad (must be Raymond Briggs animation?) is back on air (with a couple of pack-shot changes and an alteration to the end frame). Looking around it seems it’s been back on for a few months. This is one of the first ads I remember so it must date back to the early 80s at least.

This is one of a few retro spots that are finding their way back on to our screens. Is this part of a wider trend?

Advertising is so ingrained in popular culture that I suppose it’s not a surprise that companies are trying to exploit nostalgia not just through their brands, but through the old creative work too.

So I wonder what other iconic spots we can expect to see in the future?
